When traveling across the many roads and highways in our upcoming Iberia DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2, you'll be sure to see a large variety of road signs in different languages spoken across both Spain and Portugal. The most common road signs you will see will be written in Spanish and Portuguese, which are the 2 most spoken languages across the Peninsula. From informational tollgate signage to speed restriction warnings, our teams have created new and unique designs local to different areas of Iberia. However, Spanish and Portuguese aren't the only languages spoken in Iberia. Drivers making deliveries in our upcoming DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 can also expect to see signage assets written in Basque (spoken around Northern Spain) and Catalan (spoken in the North-eastern parts of Spain). Many of these informational signs that are written in the local languages are often accompanied by a second sign in Spanish, for those who may be traveling from outside the region. So make sure to keep an eye out for these unique signs around Iberia, which will relay important information to you, the driver! We know that most of you are on the lookout for a sign of when this upcoming map expansion will be released and today we are happy to share some news with you.   2. Hey everyone, Today we are starting with a new concept in TruckersMP. We want to bring more diversity by adding new ways of playing TruckersMP. Of course, our main focus will remain on truck-related things. Hauling cargo together, creating events, … Over the past years, the community has created countless suggestions about bringing new vehicles to the game. Common things we saw are “please bring a new car” or “please bring buses”. Certainly, not everyone likes cars and similarly, not everyone likes buses. Behind the scenes, we have been working for a long time (years) on creating new ways to play our modification. We want to be transparent with the community by providing insight into what is going on. Development on the new game mode which we gave an update about early 2019, is still paused. This game mode is a long-awaited feature, but after doing a lot of research and development, we sadly realized that currently, it is not viable to bring this to the community. Though, efforts are being made to make it possible closer to the end of the year. Game Developers mwl4 and ShawnCZek are working hard to rewrite and improve our current systems, which would allow us to build the ‘new game mode’ in a better way in the future. Apart from these improvements, the Game Developers are also working on a new system that will improve moderation in the game and can create unique situations at the same time. This system will be used on Simulation, Arcade and Event servers. We expect to see this new system come to life within the next few weeks. Keep an eye on our social media to stay up to date. Anyway, let’s get deeper into the new concept we are bringing to TruckersMP now. As said above, we have had tons of requests from the community to bring new vehicles. The new concept will make this happen. Every two weeks, we will create a poll where the community can vote on which car they want on our servers. Patrons will have a separate vote which allows them to vote for a second car only available for them. The polls will happen on multiple systems. Discord, Facebook, Instagram, Patreon (for Patrons only) and the TruckersMP website (a system we are still working on). Sometimes you will be able to choose between two or three cars, while other times there might be five or more. The chosen cars will be removed again after two weeks and replaced with the newly voted vehicles. How it will look Every two weeks, you will be able to vote for new vehicles which will be added to the game for two weeks. Today, 1st March, we will start the first poll which will be hosted on Discord. If you linked your Discord account correctly with your TruckersMP account and navigate to the #roles channel on our official Discord server, you will see that you can react with a blue car emote. Clicking this will give you access to the voting channel for these vehicles. Patrons will be able to vote via a post in their #patrons-updates channel. On Friday 5th March at 22:59 UTC, we will check which vehicles received the most votes. The following Monday, we will then add the vehicles to our servers. A week later, we will start the new poll and the other above-mentioned steps, but the vote will then be on a different system. On 15th March, we will then remove the first vehicles and replace them with new ones. If you have purchased one of these special vehicles, it will be replaced with the new one automatically. The vehicles will either have the existing Scout interior or a truck interior, as it is not viable to create a custom interior for all the vehicles. Using this concept, we want to bring ‘something for everyone.’ Follow us on social media to stay up to date with new vehicle polls. Please note: We will do our best to stick to the plan, however, things may change along the way. New game updates or other factors might have an impact on this concept. While our teams dedicated to the Iberia DLC project are still tirelessly working, polishing, and putting some final touches in, we also wanted to inform you that something special is getting ready to be released with this map expansion as well. And by "special", we really mean special. Hints and jokes aside, we are talking about content for the Special Transport DLC here. With each new map DLC, we always work hard to bring new routes and missions for the new map as part of a free update to the Special Transport expansion. Today we are happy to announce that Iberia's release will be no different! Coming with the long-anticipated and largest map expansion we've ever created so far, there will also be some additional content for those who like to haul huge and oversized cargoes. Five new routes for Special Transport missions will be available on the Iberian peninsula, featuring: Lisbon to Ponte de SorGijón to NaviaOlhão to SetúbalMadrid to PuertollanoHuelva to Seville Do not panic, but be ready as each of these new routes & missions will bring new challenges that will put your driving skills to the test. We suggest getting some practice, setting your seat position, mirrors, and choosing the right drivetrain before departing with any of these massive cargoes attached to your mighty truck. You should also follow the escort vehicles and their instructions, as they will be there to make sure the job goes smoothly. Can you tell that the Iberia hype is becoming OVERSIZED?   4. From towering, snow-capped mountain ranges to world-famous national parks, Wyoming is a state of rugged natural beauty. Whilst admiring the scenery on your delivery, it's important to remember the reason for your journey! Let's take a closer look at some of the key industries that will be featured in our upcoming Wyoming DLC for American Truck Simulator. Before we dive deep into this topic, we'd love to remind here that the Wyoming DLC is still in a very early phase and that everything shown here is still very much in a 'Work in Progress' stage, as you can probably tell from the screenshots below. But we thought it might be good to let you know how some of the prefabs look like when they are being created. As you will see on some of the shots here, our teams use special markers placed on them to decide where future job trailers will be spawned (green), and where the parking options are, with red for the most difficult one, yellow for medium difficulty, and blue for the easy parking option. As one of the least populous and least densely populated states in the United States, Wyoming has a lot of open lands. This makes it a perfect location for the agriculture industry, which is of the state's largest contributors to the local economy. While crops, fruits, and vegetables make up a large percentage of this industry, the production of beef is the largest part of Wyoming's agriculture sector. Many of the cattle are usually sold and exported around the world from Livestock auction houses, which will be one of the new industries arriving to Wyoming for American Truck Simulator. Another form of logistics that is prominent across the state is the railroad. Wyoming railroads date back to the Union Pacific when the railroad reached the state’s eastern fringes in 1862; today, these serve as an important connection within the United States. Drivers will be able to contribute to the maintenance of the locomotives that serve the railways as you deliver important rail parts to and from the Rail Supply Depot, as-well delivering and picking up cargo from the freight trains that arrive daily. The mineral extraction industry is Wyoming’s most important industry. The industry remains a major economic driver of the state and is one of the top contributors to the local economy. One such example that will be included in our Wyoming DLC will be the Soda Ash Mine located near Rock Springs. This has been created as a replica of our reference. Chemical plants and quarries will also be other locations where drivers can pick up and deliver various parts and materials from. These loading points are always located on the edge of the refinery or quarry to keep drivers safely away from the active mining areas. Another type of vehicle you'll find working around the quarries are dump trucks. Drivers will have the opportunity to haul dump truck parts and bodies to and from a manufacturer to industries that require their use! These are just a handful of the many industries you'll be able to discover and deliver to and from in our upcoming Wyoming DLC for American Truck Simulator!   5. Back in September of last year, two members of our team, Matej & Irenej, travelled to Spain & Portugal to record new sounds for the upcoming Iberia DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2. Today, we are excited to showcase how these new sounds have been implemented into our sim by them and Filipkooo, who is another one of our colleagues. Our sound experts travelled across the Iberian Peninsula to capture realistic sounds from industrial and scenic environments alike. Some of the stops along their journey included capturing sounds from ports, industrial zones, truck stops, and a variety of different environments such as coastlines and city streets. Towards the end of January, we introduced to you #HaulingHope, a World of Trucks event focused on recognizing the selfless drivers and support crews that are working hard to deliver COVID-19 vaccines around the world. Today, after an event extension and over a month later, hundreds of thousands of truckers from our Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator community have participated in this special and memorable event. The task was to complete 7 deliveries, undamaged, using our special #HaulingHope trailers, which many of you achieved in the first few days of the event! For us, this was an inspiration, as we always love to see how the community comes together for these special events, especially when centres around such an important subject. We thank you for joining us in paying tribute to those around the world working hard, day and night, to deliver everything from important life-saving equipment to our groceries, during this challenging time. Hello everyone, The latest rules update has been published and with this blog post we would like to explain why we have made such changes, as well as giving an insight on further changes in terms of punishments. The first relevant change is related to the 1.2§ - Ban Evading rule. The punishment for evading a ban, more often than not, resulted into a permanent ban due to the severity of the offences committed through multiple accounts. We have decided to standardize punishments for Ban Evading to a permanent ban. What is classed as Ban Evading? Evading a ban includes any attempt to avoid a punishment, which includes but is not limited to: Creating a new Steam account and a new TruckersMP profile to use services you are banned from (appeal, web report and feedback system, servers); Borrow another player's account and use TruckersMP services you are banned from; Take down your own evidence that got you banned in order to get the ban removed. It is worth explaining that we are going to put greater effort to spot Ban Evaders for 2.1§ related offences and severe intentional offences. Another internal change that will also affect you is the ability to report Ban Evaders. Our focus is to have a lean approach on what we do, freeing ourselves of steps that are often unproductive and provide close to no results. We have worked a lot on web reports and feedback tickets by checking accounts we received and we deem this method highly inefficient. Out of 6496 Ban Evading reports we processed, barely 30% of them was classed as a valid web report and resulted in a ban. Starting today, it won't be possible to report in any way Ban Evaders through the web report system or the feedback system, all BE related processes will be handled internally with the appropriate tools available for the Game Moderation Management. Further improvements have been made to 1.4§ - Reporting users. We have improved wording to let players and staff members have a better understanding of the rules and we also decided to publicly share the punishments we have been issuing for the past year as per internal rules. From now on, the GM Team will decline any report that does not comply with the rules in order to increase the average quality of web reports and for certain rules violations, the Game Moderation Management will manually issue a 30 days ban from the web report system which will need to be appealed through the feedback system. The second offence will be permanent. We feel like this is a necessary step due to the outstanding amount of total web reports declined that goes as high as 326,989, 26% of the total received. Following the Road to Simulation #2 blog post, we would like to take further steps forward in preventing intentional offences from happening on our servers. The Game Moderation Management has made wide use of the 2.9§ rule in the past months and issued permanent bans, even as first bans, to players that were intentionally violating rules. Back in 2019 we have issued a total of 14,323 permanent bans which are still active as of today. In 2020, we stepped it up at 17,919 permanent bans with an increase of 25%. We do not intend to stop this trend: we will make further internal changes to ban people even faster that intentionally violate the rules for driving-related offences. We will be restricting the loop further on racist remarks and we will be having a zero-tolerance policy for racism-related offences and we'll go as far as issuing instant permanent bans for such violations. TruckersMP is a worldwide community, full of players of any age and any origin and we won't consider racism as "just" a worse insult any longer. In the past months, we have already started issuing harsher bans for such offences, however, we want to make it clear what we will be doing with such events. One major change that you can read in our latest rules update is the restricted use of anything related to criminal organizations on tags, avatars, names, VTC names etc. on all our services. At TruckersMP we've always restricted the possibility to impersonate in any way other users, staff members, political figures, law enforcement, leaders and authorities of any kind and we do not believe allowing the use criminal organizations such as the "Mafia" are fit for our community. We do not support nor encourage the views of such organizations and for this reason, we do not want these to be part of our servers. We are very well aware that some specific names are widely used in the community, which is why we will be giving a 7 days cool down to remove and/or change all criminal organization related content, whether they are in-game tags, usernames, vehicle tags, VTC names and tags, avatars etc. After the cooldown has ended, on the 21/02/2021, we will proceed to issue punishments for in-game related offences and hand-made changes for the other TruckersMP related services such as Forums, VTCs and TruckersMP profiles as we do on a daily basis for other violations of the 1.5§ rule.   8. From semi-arid southeastern deserts to the green coniferous forests, the Iberian Peninsula is home to rich and diverse landscapes. To best represent the climates and biomes in Spain and Portugal, our dedicated research, vegetation, and graphics teams have worked closely together to create an accurate variety of Flora in our upcoming Iberia expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2. As you may have guessed, the majority of the Iberian Peninsula consists of a much drier climate than we are used to seeing across the rest of mainland Europe. To best represent the drier and warmer climates, our graphic artists have created new grass textures, dry variants of these, rock textures, and desert materials. New models of trees including cypresses, palms, pines, dry shrubs, (as mentioned in previous blogs) olive trees, orange trees, and cork trees were also created for the upcoming DLC, to bring a variety of vegetation that exists across Spain and Portugal. However, Iberia isn't just all desert and flat land! It may come as a surprise to some of you to find out that the peninsula is actually very rocky, so our team has created both new rock textures and models. Map designers are taking advantage of our new tools and of the fantastic work of the art team on procedurally generated rocks. This allows them to create varying rock faces along a defined curve, which will be showcased for the first time in our upcoming DLC. You will also find that Iberia is very colourful! Much like you would see in various U.S states, Spain and Portugal feature different coloured soil and rocks. From red, yellow, and even sometimes grey, our team has done their best to capture the unique colours of each area across this enormous peninsula. We also wanted to provide the community with a short update regarding Iberia for Euro Truck Simulator 2. Our map teams are still working hard on adding details and more to this enormous expansion, which will then need to go through various testing phases before its release. Once we reach this stage, we will be more confident in announcing a release date for this highly anticipated DLC. We know that many of you are very excited for the release of Iberia, so make sure to keep an eye on our social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram) for our live-stream announcements, as we plan to hopefully visit this region in the near future.   9. Lunar New Year is almost here! This sees the transition from the Year of the Rat to the Year of the Ox on February 12th. Traditionally, we have always released a new paint job for our Chinese Paint Jobs Pack DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 with the current year's zodiac animal. However, this year we decided to create a new DLC pack, as the Lunar New Year is not just celebrated in China, but also in many other countries and by people around the world. Introducing the Lunar New Year Pack DLC! The Lunar New Year Pack DLC includes paint jobs for all 12 zodiac animal signs in the traditional red and gold colours, so no matter the year, you can always be ready to celebrate on the road! With the introduction of this new DLC, we have made some changes to the existing Chinese Paint Jobs Pack for Euro Truck Simulator 2. All of the current existing Lunar New Year paint jobs have been moved from their current home in the Chinese Paint Jobs pack to the new Lunar New Year Pack DLC. Although the fight against COVID-19 continues, the worldwide vaccine rollout is now entering full swing, and so is our #HaulingHope event! So far, almost 100,000 American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2 truckers have reached their personal goal of 7 deliveries in our special #HaulingHope event, with thousands more already past the halfway mark - so close. Today we are excited to share with you some more detailed news from a teaser we showed during our traditional SCS Christmas Live Stream, which featured a variety of exciting news and upcoming content that is Work in Progress. With the exciting release of the Western Star® 49X in September 2020, we mentioned that 'larger sleeper variants will be added in time' and today; we are excited to share with you those said updates and more that have been rolled out with the 1.40 Beta for American Truck Simulator. If you were in the co-driver seat on our special Western Star® 49X Update stream yesterday, then you already know what new options and awesome parts are coming for this truck. But if you have missed our live session full of fun, jokes but also a lot of in-depth info on this truck - don't fret because you can watch its recording right now on our YouTube channel. We are happy to share that the 49X will receive 2 additional sleeper cabin options and a grand total of 36 chassis variants, comprising of different lengths and fuel tank options on 6x2, 6x4, 8x4, and 8x6 axle configurations. Also as a surprise bonus, this includes 5 lengths for both the Set-Back and Set-Forward Axle configurations! So whether you are on a job long or small, you will have the option to customize your Western Star perfectly for the task at hand. However, that isn't all! The Western Star 49X will also receive an array of new parts to customize your truck including new bumpers, quarter fenders, mud flaps, hood mirrors, sun visors, grille guards, and different interior colors. We will also be bringing 3 new gearboxes in this update, the DT12-V (in direct-drive and overdrive configurations) and the DT12-VX.   12. We love to bring you new game updates, especially when they contain some cool features that have been requested for a long time! Today, we are happy to share with you that the 1.40 Update Open Beta for American Truck Simulator is now ready to be tested and tried-out by our community! However, please keep in mind that this is the first iteration of the open beta, which is still very much a work-in-progress build. If you want to take it for a spin, you can help contribute by reporting any bugs you may encounter in the appropriate section of our official forums. Your feedback and reports are extremely valuable for our team and we thank you in advance for taking the time to help us out. Please bear in mind that this huge update will likely render many community MODs incompatible. MOD authors may need to adjust and update their mods to work with this update. We strongly recommend that you use a profile without any third-party modifications if you wish to participate in the 1.40 Open Beta. So, let's take a look at what the 1.40 update has in store! New Visual Lighting SystemOne of the biggest changes you'll notice when you first hop into your truck cab is the implementation of our new visual lighting system. However, this isn't just a simple change of our skyboxes; our new light system is fully dynamic and can now change not just according to current weather, but also based on simulated camera exposure taking into account not just current daylight intensity and weather, but also surface properties of game world elements in the view. This new light system and the start of our new physical light model is a very important step towards a complete and better physical model of the whole world in our game, and how real it looks and works. All of our lighting is now based on real physical ratios and units, to make it as realistic as possible. To prepare for this new light system, our teams had to make a lot of changes to existing in-game world objects; including a majority of the in-game assets, textures, and materials to better work with the new physical model of the new light system. We are very excited for you to be able to experience and immerse yourself in driving in the new light. The result is the combination of thousands of hours by our programmers and visual effect artists and many other teams involved in the creation process of this new system. During this open beta, your feedback is incredibly important and valuable to us, so we ask that you please submits yours to us in the 1.40 section for American Truck Simulator on our forums which you can find here. Extended Chassis update:For the 5th anniversary of American Truck Simulator, we wanted to bring a heavily-requested feature to our community to celebrate its progress and journey so far! This suggestion has always frequently appeared in our suggestions pile, and today we are thrilled to bring you an extended chassis range to all current truck models. Our vehicle team has worked hard to bring you a range of long and short chassis types, allowing you to customize your truck for the job at hand. This update will feature 4x2, 8x4, and 8x6 chassis types which are used for a range of different trailers. 4x2s, also known as single-axle trucks, are frequently used for local distribution deliveries by supermarkets and by logistic companies for hauling doubles. 8x4 and 8x6 chassis are the big guns of the heavy-haul industry and can handle just about any load you decide to take on. All of these new options bring more variety to you, the driver! So we hope you enjoy this surprise addition to 1.40. New Mexico & Oregon DLC ViewpointsBack in October last year, American Truck Simulator saw the arrival of viewpoints to the states of Washington and Utah after their popular debut in Idaho! Today we are happy to share with you that 1.40 sees the introduction of new viewpoints to the states of New Mexico & Oregon. For newer players of our titles, Viewpoints are certain spots found across the map, where drivers can activate a special in-game cutscene with a short showcase of a near location or place of interest. These can be found displayed as a grey question mark on your GPS, so be sure to stop and discover them on your journeys. You also have the option to skip the viewpoint or replay it if you wish to watch it again. With all of the excitement surrounding the upcoming updates for our trucking titles, we are happy to share with you that the 1.40 Update Open Beta for Euro Truck Simulator 2 is now ready to be tested and tried-out by our community! Please do keep in mind that this is the first iteration of the open beta, which is very much still a work in progress build. We anticipate that several weeks of further tweaking will be needed to get things stable. If you want to take it for a spin, you can help contribute by reporting any bugs you may encounter in the appropriate section of our official forums. Your feedback and reports are extremely valuable for our team and we thank you in advance for taking the time to help us out. Please bear in mind that this huge update will likely render many community MODs incompatible. MOD authors may need to adjust and update their mods to work with this update. We strongly recommend you use a profile without any third-party modifications if you wish to participate in the 1.40 Open Beta. So, let's take a look at what the 1.40 update has in store! New Visual Lighting System One of the biggest changes you'll notice when you first hop into your truck cab is the implementation of our new visual lighting system. While still not perfect, it's a solid step in the direction we need to take to improve our games' look. The new light system has full HDR internals, and it can adapt much better to changes of daylight around the clock or under various weather conditions. Our art teams had to make a lot of changes across the whole catalogue of our in-game world objects; including a majority of the in-game 2D/3D assets, textures, and materials to better work with the new physical model of the new light system. Some of the textures, including our new skyboxes, have a bit higher resolution, but for now, we are still keeping things in limits to maintain reasonable performance on mid-range GPUs and below. We plan to bring a more in-depth article to our 'Under the Hood' series focused on this major graphical rework soon, with more info and comparison images. We are very excited for you to be able to experience and immerse yourself in driving under the new light. The result is the combination of thousands of hours by our programmers and visual effect artists and many other teams involved in the development and implementation of the new system. During this open beta, your feedback is incredibly important and valuable to us, so we ask that you please submits yours to us in the 1.40 section for Euro Truck Simulator 2 on our forums which you can find here. Germany Reskin1.40 will also bring the final piece of our revisiting Germany project which a small team of mappers has been working on. For those who are new to our game, the revisiting Germany project consists of a small dedicated map team, who has been working hard to update one of the oldest map sections of the base game with a more realistic and up-to-date look. The biggest change that will come with this update is a complete reskin and rework of all the highways and roads in this part of our in-game world, which was not retouched in previous updates. Additionally, the areas around Dortmund, Köln, Dusseldorf, and Duisburg have not only benefitted from a complete road network redesign but a few new intersections and roads as well! The southern part of the Bundesautobahn 7 will also be available in this update. Vive La France ! New CitiesWith the upcoming release of the Iberia expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2, we know that many drivers will be excited to progressively make their way down Europe to cross into the peninsula for the first time. With France being mainland Europe's gateway to Spain and Portugal, our team is currently developing 2 new French locations which will be a part of a free update to the Vive La France ! DLC in the future. The first being the city of Bayonne, located in the southwest of France; it is the capital of the French Basque Country and an important connection for drivers heading to Spain as it is located close to the border. The second location will be the smaller commune of Lacq, which is located in the Arrondissement of Pau. While this small village will just be a scenic drive-through for most, Lacq is home to the largest refinery in France. Both of these areas plus two new connecting junctions in Toulouse and Bordeaux will come as a free update to the Vive La France ! DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2, which we originally announced would arrive with the release of Iberia. However, with them being ready now, we thought it would be a nice surprise to include them early in this update. Super Stripes Paint Jobs Pack UpdateOur latest ETS2 DLC is also about to get an update - two of the amazing designs in the Super Stripes Paint Jobs Pack have been expanded and are now applicable on owned trailers! And believe it or not, there was a small social media experiment behind the choice of the two paint jobs that were picked for this upgrade. Back in November 2020, we wrote several short and seemingly insignificant posts on our Euro Truck Simulator 2 and SCS Software Facebook pages, where we called upon our community to cast votes on which DLC designs you liked the most. Today we are happy to share with you that the two most popular designs are getting an upgrade so that everyone can match these designs on both trucks and trailers! Your engagement and activity on our social media channels really do matter! We can't wait to see all the beautiful matching combinations on your vehicles.   14. Hello truckers, On January 21st 2018, we announced that TruckersMP had hit an amazing 2 million users. On November 12th 2019, we announced that TruckersMP had hit an outstanding 3 million users. This is going to be insane, but we are proud to announce that today we have surpassed the 4 million users mark! This is seriously beyond our expectations! When TruckersMP was first created and established in 2014 we never thought this, at the time, a small project would become this popular with this many registered accounts. It seriously amazes us! So on behalf of the entire TruckersMP Team, we thank you for joining us on this journey and thank you for playing your part in our history. As we continue our work to secure a bright future for this project, it is important to never forget how far we have come and what we have achieved. So, let's take a look back at some of the major developments and achievements since the last milestone. 2019.. May 1 2019: TruckersMP turns 5 years old! - we celebrated our five year anniversary. Five amazing, wonderful and interesting years of work to build up this project to where it is today. Thanks to our fans, players and staff for all that they do to make this possible. It is not easy, but we have a superb group of people working behind the scenes. July 2 2019: Road to Simulation - we decided to change our focus to return to our roots of true simulation. With this, we altered our server settings to create simulation and arcade servers so there is something for everyone. Launch of this was generally mixed but we saw more positive feedback being sent to us. We thought that it was important - that based on your feedback - we make changes to ensure that TruckersMP is going in the right direction. July 13 2019: VTC System - considering Virtual Trucking Companies play a major part in our community, we wanted to be able to bring all VTC's together and make a dedicated feature for them. Within this new fully integrated system, customisable roles, ranks, VTC information, social media links, ability to post announcements, news and much more are available all within your own page right on our website. Feedback from this has been great and we're glad that company owners are enjoying it. September 25 2019: ProMods here we come! - after years of our users questioning and asking, we have finally agreed to implement ProMods into the multiplayer experience. We were & are still so excited about this. Demand for ProMods has been high for years and it has taken a great deal of work to get to this point. We hope you love this new feature as much as we do! Our partners over a ProMods deserve a special thanks for making this possible, as well as our own development team. October 2019: Official Partnerships! - we are delighted for this to become a feature of the community. Recognizing those special projects that bring so much to our community day in day out, contributing to TruckersMP in many ways to bring about an interactive, dedicated and active community within TruckersMP. A special feature that will bring with it exciting additions in the future! October 2019: Patreon Launch! - to further support our internal projects and the servers, we launched a Patreon where users can pay a monthly amount to support us alongside getting some super cool perks! 2020… May 2020: TruckersMP turns 6 years old... - another massive milestone for TruckersMP was with our 6 year anniversary where we ran a weekend of events in collaboration with Truckers.FM for the debut edition of “The Festival” event where truckers came out to a custom stage made by our Add-On Team alongside a drag racing strip! Truckers.FM also provided live music from presenters during the entire event. July 2020: TFM and TMP in-game - a big development for our partnership with Truckers.FM was when we added commands in-game that would give you information on what was going on at TFM. We also added a custom radio box that you could see all this information on! October 2020: Stream Team - a brand new team was introduced to TruckersMP for the first time in 2 years, the Stream Team! This team consists of members who are dedicated to stream on our Twitch channel. September 2020: Community Contributor Relaunch - the Community Contributor program was reworked where the public could nominate members and we could promote those in our community who are dedicated and go the extra mile to promote TruckersMP. December 2020, Event System - a long awaiting feature to be added was the Event System that was released in December where users could publish and promote their events they would hold on our platform. This was later integrated with VTCs and has obtained over 500 events in the first month! December 2020: Christmas Convoy & Stream Team introduction - our second annual charity Christmas Convoy was held for the RSPCA where we raised over £2,500. Alongside this, it was the first time we saw Official Streamers go live! December 2020: ProMods Canada - to end the month right, we expanded our partnership with ProMods to support their new Canada modification on day 1 which we were super hyped about alongside the community! 2021… January 2021. VTC verification reopening - we reopened verification applications for those VTCs who are actively using our VTC system and meet the requirements with over 40 verified VTCs! February 2021: 4 million users - Here we are today, a massive 4 million users on our network... We welcome another million users to this amazing community. We are confident that we will continue to grow and prosper in the future, with even more exciting features to come, even more developments to be made and even more fun to be had here at TruckersMP.   15. Happy 5th Birthday American Truck Simulator! It's incredible how time has flown since we released this newer trucking title in February 2016. Since that time we are proud to have brought you 9 U.S States (California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho, Colorado) with 2 more in development, 7 major truck brands, and 13 DLC's such as Cabin Accessories and Special Transport! To celebrate this special occasion, we wanted to bring a heavily-requested feature to our community to celebrate its progress and journey so far! This suggestion has always frequently appeared in our suggestions pile and today, we are happy to announce that American Truck Simulator will receive new chassis options for all current trucks in the upcoming 1.40 update. Our vehicle team has worked hard to bring you a range of long and short chassis types, allowing you to customize your truck for the job at hand. This update will feature 4x2, 8x4, and 8x6 chassis types which are used for a range of different trailers. 4x2s, also known as single-axle trucks, are frequently used for local distribution deliveries by supermarkets and by logistic companies for hauling doubles. 8x4 and 8x6 chassis are the big guns of the heavy-haul industry and can handle just about any load you decide to take on.
