  1. The sheer size of Russia means that it hosts a vast array of nature and wildlife. The country is home to various landscapes and almost every habitat imaginable including forest, rivers, seas and more. In our upcoming Heart of Russia DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2, you will be able to journey through some of these beautiful but sometimes tricky country roads. Russia contains the largest expanse of forest in the world with some 8 million square kilometers of mixed woodlands, including larch, pine, spruce, oak and the country's national tree birch, which is an important part of Russia's folklore and history; but more about that in a future blogpost! As Russia is so huge, it’s no surprise that this incredible country is also home to a large number of ecosystems and habitats. From remote rugged wilderness to picturesque countryside, Russia is bound to surprise you at every turn with its rich history and abundance in natural beauty. We look forward to sharing more development news about Heart of Russia in the future, and the beautiful landscapes and new road networks that will arrive with it. Until then, however, be sure to check out the official Heart of Russia Steam store page with early-development screenshots, and if you wish to support us, be sure to add it to your Steam Wishlist! 2. The season for hiking, going to the beach and having picnics alongside the weather getting warmer, we’re finally back in summer! We are happy to confirm our continued support for the 2021 summer season for the summer environmental modification on TruckersMP for both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2. These mods enhance your gameplay by adding an improved summer environment alongside adding high-quality graphics that represent summer. In order to use this modification on our network, you need to follow a few steps which are a bit different compared to installing mods for singleplayer. You can find all the information on how to install the summer mod for the 2021 summer season on our knowledge base article: How to install the summer mod? If summer is not your style, it’s no problem as this modification is optional and not required to continue playing on TruckersMP. Similar to our support for other Grimes environmental mods, this modification is compatible with our ProMods servers so you can experience the enhanced summer gameplay all over TruckersMP! Looking back at the amazing Spring we’ve had where we celebrated our 7 year anniversary, saw the return of Real Operations and supported 1.40, it is time to move on and with this, we are disabling our support for the spring environment mod and this mod will no longer work on our network. Be sure to share all your best screenshots using the summer mod with us on social media platform by mentioning @TruckersMP on Twitter and @truckersmp.official on Instagram, who knows - we might even feature you! Thank you all for your continued support and we hope you have a good summer trucker, The TruckersMP Team View the full article
  3. It is a generally known fact that about seventy-one percent of Earth’s surface is covered by water, and that is why it would be unimaginable to talk about the upcoming Wyoming DLC without ever mentioning the local water bodies! Without any hesitation, let’s dive into what you can expect. Even though the local environment of Wyoming may not consist of the same proportion of water as Earth itself, passing by some of the reservoirs may in fact create such an illusion. The Glendo, Boysen and Palisades reservoirs are not mere ponds; they are vast water-filled areas, which are capable of creating extraordinary scenery in conjunction with the surrounding hillsides and mountains. Palisades Reservoir is also located along Snake River, which has one of the oldest place names in the area - reportedly derived from the S-shaped hand sign made by a Native American tribe. Man-made reservoirs cannot exist without their dams. You will have the opportunity to witness the Boysen Dam, which has a unique look to it, being a rockfill dam. Additionally, not only will the Flaming George Dam be a part of the game, but you will also be able to drive on the road built across the top of it and there will be a viewpoint included as well! Trust us, despite the dam’s name, there’s still plenty of water around. Furthermore, there’s also going to be a chance to pass by a couple of lakes. These are namely Bear Lake and Wind River Lake. Bear Lake (actual bears not guaranteed) is a popular destination for tourists and it is no wonder, that you will be able to enjoy this beautiful scenery with an included viewpoint. Wind River Lake is an alpine lake found at a high altitude, and even though you will not be able to visit its frequently visited picnic area, you can always take that one perfect screenshot and enjoy a snack or two looking at it afterwards! If you are excited for the release of Wyoming DLC, do not forget to bring your swimming trunks and add Wyoming to your Steam Wishlist. Well... You will not be able to swim in the water bodies so just focus on delivering goods and basking in the glory of Wyoming’s natural beauty. View the full article
  4. We love to bring you new game updates, especially when they contain features that have been requested for a long time! Today, we are happy to share with you that Update 1.41 Open Beta for Euro Truck Simulator 2 is now ready to be tested by our community! However, please keep in mind that this is the first iteration of the open beta, which is still very much a work-in-progress build. If you want to take it for a spin, you can help contribute by reporting any bugs you may encounter in the appropriate section of our official forum. Your feedback and reports are extremely valuable for our team and we thank you in advance for taking the time to help us out. Please bear in mind that this update will likely render many community MODs incompatible. MOD authors may need to adjust and update their mods to work with this update. We strongly recommend that you use a profile without any third-party modifications if you wish to participate in the 1.41 Open Beta. So, let's take a look at what the 1.41 update has in store! Convoy Multiplayer Open Beta Convoy is a new multiplayer game mode, where players can set up and host their own private sessions (password optional) to drive with their friends or other fellow truckers. There is currently support for synchronized AI traffic, time and weather, and the ability to take the same job as other players. During this open beta phase, Convoy will allow you to create and host an online session with up to 8 players. We plan to eventually raise the player limit in the future, however, we are keeping it small at this time due to its work-in-progress nature. Session hosts will automatically be made admins of these sessions, allowing them to ultimately control what kind of environment they want to have online, as well as having the ability to kick any trouble-makers from the session. You can also see, filter, browse and eventually join any of the available sessions that have been already created by your friends or other truckers. So what options and features will players be able to use and experience in the open beta of Convoy? Any player can host and create their own private sessions for up to 8 peopleAbility to haul the same contracts/jobs together from the same company and to the same destinationSynchronized AI traffic (random events included)Synchronized time and weatherSynchronized paint jobs, truck accessories, cabin accessories, cargoes and moreAbility to communicate with other drivers via CB radio broadcast (X key), quick replies (Q key), or text chat (Y key) We know how many players are eager to try out this new feature; however, there are some things you will need to know before joining your friends on the road! Convoy is in a beta phase, which means you may potentially run into some bugs, imperfections, or unexpected problems whilst driving. Notable issues / not yet implemented:Mods in Convoy mode are not supported in the initial release. When using an owned trailer, there might be a company trailer spawned in the same location you are supposed to go to to load your cargo.AI vehicles might disappear when a player disconnects.Lifting bridges are not synchronized. They will be stationary for the initial release of Convoy.Steam invites work only through the Steam overlay.CB radio broadcast (hotkey "X") interferes with the text input line. The on-screen map in Convoy "M" zooms out together with chat scrolling in the Route Advisor.Worried about your profile progress? In-case of trouble-makers or other circumstances out of your control, players will have the option to revert their save to one made previously before joining the session. From friends to VTC's, we are excited to see how you will enjoy Convoy and we look forward to hearing your constructive feedback on this new online feature. A-24 Iberia DLC Addition Today, we are happy to bring a new piece of the road network to the latest map expansion for ETS2. This update to Iberia carries the Autoestrada A24 which runs north to south across the Douro river valley, connecting A7 and A25. It passes through a very scenic region of Portugal, famous for its many vineyards. Originally, this road was considered for release with Iberia DLC, but we did not manage to complete it in time. We decided to finish A24 anyway and bring it to you in an update, as we did not want to leave this beautiful part of Portugal behind! Our teams are listening to feedback and making changes accordingly for upcoming updates and beyond. We look forward to bringing you similar development news in the near future, be sure to keep your suggestions and feedback coming as it really helps motivate us to improve our content. Photo Mode: Time & Weather options We know how much our players love to take photos in-game and spend a lot of time creating that perfect shot, and for many, this also includes finding the right lighting conditions and weather. So to help create that perfect trucking memory, we have implemented a new feature that may save you quite a bit of time when it comes to using console commands! Introducing the new Time and Weather options! Players will now be able to choose the conditions of their liking, to create the perfect trucking snap just by simply adjusting a new slider to change the time, or clicking on two buttons to control the lighting/weather, all of which will appear in the updated in-game photo studio. We can't wait to see how drivers will use this new feature in the future and we look forward to seeing your snaps! Changelog: Gameplay: Convoy Multiplayer Time and weather adjustments in photo modeQuick Travel Map A-24 Duoro Road Addition to Iberia DLCIberia map fixes Various road signs reskinned across EuropeNavigation sign reflection fix UI New icons on the map legend So enjoy all the new additions, but please remember: It's only an open beta, not a stable public version - so you may encounter bugs, instability, or crashes. It's completely okay if you want to wait for the final release. But if you're interested in helping us to get there faster, we'll appreciate all of your feedback on our forum and your bug reports in this section. 5. Since 2018, we have been happy to work closely alongside Krone to bring drivers in Euro Truck Simulator 2 a range of trailers that leads the market in terms of innovation and quality. From Profi Liner to Box Liner trailers, Krone produces a variety of trailers for jobs large and small. One trailer, however, stands out above the rest! The Cool Liner, which celebrates its 25th birthday this year, is a refrigerated semi-trailer which was first introduced by Krone in 1996 under the product name "Krone-Wabash". Today, the Cool Liner can now be found with numerous updates including an innovative lighting concept, a new optimized door seal, a redesigned baffle plate, and more. To celebrate this amazing milestone, we have teamed up with Krone to deliver a special "KRONE Cool Liner 25th Anniversary" paint job for the Cool Liner Trailer, which Krone themselves has built in the real world! With this free update, owners of the Krone Trailer Pack DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 can also find a new option to add the Celsineo cooling unit for the Cool Liner Trailers. This is not all, as we are already planning other cool content additions together with our friends over at Krone Trailers for later this year, and also for 2022! We look forward to seeing you celebrate this special birthday by sharing photos of you hauling a delivery with the 25th Anniversary Krone Cool Liner trailer on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram using the hashtag #25YearsCoolLiner. Make sure to tag us (@SCSSoftware) and Krone Trailer (@KroneTrailer) in! You will have a chance to win some cool items kindly provided from Krone Trailers' merchandise shop! Also, we would love to have you join us this Friday, from 17.00 CEST time on our official Twitch & YouTube channels, where we will host a very special Cool Liner 25 Years Anniversary live stream! Featuring not just our well-known duo of Alex and Nemiro, but also joined by a special VIP guest from Krone Trailers! You can expect an interesting interview to learn more about Krone Trailers, free DLC keys giveaway, and more! View the full article
  6. Hello, We recently had our 7th anniversary, which has been a blast. We thank every single one of you who has been here with us the past years or recently joined. I have planned 2021 to be the year of major changes. The year where we will focus on changing how TruckersMP works (internally) and providing certain highly-requested features to you. Maybe you remember that we had our 2020 Christmas video where I appeared at the end of the video showing multiple pictures in the back. People quickly started decoding the top image and found out what it meant. With this post, I am officially confirming that TruckersMP succeeded in making some major plans come true, thanks to you as the community and our staff team. I want to thank our Patrons in particular because they are the main ones who made it possible for us to have someone working full-time for TruckersMP. Starting July 2021, our Game Developer ShawnCZek will be the first person working for TruckersMP. Our dream is to have more people working full-time on the project, so we can provide better and more game and website-related features to you. To achieve this dream we mainly depend on the money coming from our Patrons. Last year, we were able to set money aside to achieve the first step of our dream. It is important to maintain the current income to achieve the second step of our dream, which is employing a second Game Developer. We hope to achieve this second step later this year. In 2022, we want to continue this path and employ at least one web developer as well, so we have multiple people who can create and maintain features daily. This being said, the Patreon campaign goals have been updated to the current situation and to what would be required to achieve the next steps. What else was visible on the image in the Christmas video? Bottom left picture: A lot of people instantly figured out this shape looks like a bus, which is indeed true. With our Alternating Vehicles, we made it possible that you will be able to drive a bus now and then. But, there is more! Hopefully later this year, you will find out more information regarding this. Bottom middle picture: This image is referring to a unique major event later this year, stay tuned for that! Bottom right picture: You can see a blurry shape of a trailer. It is referring to a custom TruckersMP trailer built from scratch. It will have a lot of customisation options. There will also be additional customisation options for Patrons. What are the plans for the project and the Patreon campaign? Over the past years, TruckersMP has grown continuously and we are slowly approaching 4.5 million accounts! Getting more players means we need to get more staff. In February, 885 of you applied for a position as Game Moderator. 7% of those were invited to an interview and we ended up welcoming a total of 30 new Game Moderation Trainees to our team! An increase of people in the community and staff means that more people want to express their opinions and provide their wish to get certain new features. We love that you share with us how you feel and what you would like to see in the project. As mentioned above, the Patreon campaign is essential for us to achieve our dreams. We will not solely focus on our Patrons alone, that would be a big shame. Though it needs to be mentioned that if we want to grow and if we want to bring everything that is planned, we will need to pay people ... and that means money is required. At the moment of writing this post, no one in TruckersMP is paid to work for TruckersMP. Every developer, manager and team member does their tasks mostly alongside school/work/... To be completely transparent with the community, I will be sharing the number of tasks that are currently waiting to be completed by Developers. This does not include all the 'accepted' suggestions, it includes feature requests submitted by staff members and community, minor and major tasks that are planned for years, and similar. The amount is 207 tasks. We hope to complete the majority of these tasks this year, which would mean that a long-awaited feature is planned to be released. As for the Patreon campaign, it is going very well and the current revenue makes us able to fulfil the needs for the first step of our dream described above. If we want to move on to the next steps, we will have to increase the revenue. As said when we started the Patreon campaign back in October 2019, we will not increase the prices of the current tiers, nor move around benefits of a current tier to a higher tier. We are currently brainstorming what we can do to make our Patreon campaign more appealing for new and existing players. We have compared our Patreon campaign to other campaigns in the gaming industry and were surprised about the popularity of some campaigns (and the lack of content that they are giving back to Patrons). When we asked for your opinions about what you would like to see as a reward in return for your subscription, the most requested one is a custom skin for truck/trailer. While this seems like something we would love to provide, it is currently not viable to do with how TruckersMP is currently built. Apart from that, the price of infrastructure will increase exponentially. A $10 tier is something very likely to come to the TruckersMP Patreon campaign somewhere this year or early next year, but as said above, we are thinking what could be worth providing for such a tier. An early access system or access to testing environments is maybe possible, but feel free to bring up things you would like to see for Patrons. If you are a Patron, what else would you like to see in return for your subscription? If you are not a Patron, what things would make you consider becoming one? Feel free to let us know by replying to the forum topic linked to this blog (or reply to this topic, if you are reading this on the forum). Suggestions Over the past years, you have submitted a huge amount of suggestions, which we want to thank you for. We have accepted, rejected and opened many suggestions for discussion. A lot of tasks for developers were made because of these suggestions. Sadly, we have never been able to give ETAs on when certain features can be expected. We plan to focus more on suggestions once we get our first paid Game Developer. It will then be easier to prioritise features and create a plan with deadlines. There is a possibility that we will ask you which things you want to see first. These can be little things like chat colours or displaying the tag in chat or can be major things like an economy system or maybe even something AI-related . Some previously accepted suggestions may be reviewed again to see if they are still needed, so possibly some of these can be rejected. But we will do our best to explain why something gets rejected while it was accepted in the past. With this being said, on behalf of the TruckersMP Team, I would like to thank you for playing TruckersMP in the past seven years, sharing pictures, videos, suggestions, feedback and so much more with us. It will be nice to see you on the road again and I hope these changes will make your TruckersMP experience better. Smoky Game Producer View the full article
  7. Two weeks ago, we posted a few shots from Euro Truck Simulator 2 about an upcoming truck that was covered in a camouflage wrap. We hope that you have had as much fun guessing (granted, it was quite obvious) as we did creating the special livery. Today, we are proud and excited to bring to you, just a day after DAF's official reveal of the New-Generation DAF trucks, the brand-new DAF XG and XG+ The New-Generation DAF represents a new era in trucking. As DAF says, Start the Future. The new line of trucks focuses on efficiency, driver comfort, and safety. The new XG and XG+ cab is yet another revolution since DAF's previous cab was introduced in its earliest form on the DAF 95 back in 1987. DAF is literally reinventing the game with the XG/XG+, by being the first-to-market with its new super-sized cabs made possible by the reformed EU Weights & Dimensions law, which allows for truck cabs to be increased in length by up to 80cm. A rounder and longer front overhang not only improves fuel economy, but improves driver safety in the event of a frontal collision. The increased cab space also allows for a much wider bunk and a more spacious driving position. New to Euro Truck Simulator 2 is the introduction of optional digital mirrors replacing the conventional side, wide-angle and front mirrors. These mirrors improve side visibility as the conventional mirrors which normally create a blind-spot at roundabouts/junctions are replaced with displays that sit cleanly on the interior A-pillar. The mirrors also feature exposure correction for better night-time visibility. Another first for Euro Truck Simulator 2 with the new DAF is its fully-digital dashboard display, or Driver Information Panel (DIP), as DAF calls it. The DIP features modern graphics and a unique design which is bound to make the truck stand out from its competitors, and make your driving experience more interesting and informative. The New-Generation DAF is initially available in Euro Truck Simulator 2 with the XG and XG+ cab options, with the XF coming at a later date. Only the 4x2 chassis option will be available for now, as is the same with the trucks initially offered to customers. Last but not least, we have also added a special launch paint job for the new trucks, to go with the Tuscan Yellow launch colour that you should definitely use! We would like to thank DAF Trucks N.V., especially their marketing and design teams, for this amazing opportunity of a next-day launch of the truck for ETS2, for trusting us with all the confidential data (they even provided us with material swatches!) involved, and for assisting us along the way during the creation of the in-game truck. We hope this collaboration opens up even more opportunities with the PACCAR group and the wider trucking industry as a whole! And finally, thank you, our #BestCommunityEver, for continuing to believe in us, for supporting us, and for being the awesome community that you are! We promise that there is more where this came from, so keep sticking around and playing our games, especially with Convoy mode around the corner! What are you waiting for? Go take a spin in the new DAF XG/XG+ and Start the Future! Don't forget to share a screenshot or video of your new DAF XG/XG+ on Twitter or Instagram under the #StartTheFuture hashtag! Tag both SCS Software and DAF Trucks (Twitter, Instagram) and you might win something cool kindly provided from the DAF Trucks merchandise shop! View the full article
  8. We love to bring you new game updates, especially when they contain features that have been requested for a long time! Those who are familiar with our forum probably already heard about our quietly released Experimental Open Beta for 1.41 update, which we have decided to release without extra promotion so we could closely and carefully monitor the first wave of community feedback. Convoy is, for sure, the most anticipated content coming to ATS with this update. Today, we are happy to share with you that Update 1.41 Open Beta for American Truck Simulator is now ready to be tested fully and publicly by our community! However, please keep in mind that this is still an open beta, which remains in a very much work-in-progress state. From friends to VTC's, we are excited to see how you will enjoy Convoy and we look forward to hearing your constructive feedback on this new online feature. California Reskin During our special Christmas 2020 live stream, we announced that we would be revisiting California in American Truck Simulator to give our starting state a reskin! Today, we bring the first iteration of this reskin, carrying a major road layout rework, agriculture stations, and more! One of the most noticeable changes drivers will experience when arriving in California are the new agriculture border control stations! All drivers hauling goods into the state will have to undergo special checks from the control station where vehicles are inspected for commodities that may be infested with invasive species, and for the correct documentation. In-game, we will mimic these scenarios with a new feature, which will work very similarly to the current weigh stations. Upon your arrival at the border, depending on what you are hauling, drivers will be notified to pull over for an inspection at one of the control stations before they are given the green light to enter the state. Our world design tools have been considerably improved during the years since ATS was released as well, and we plan to take advantage of the new power. For example, our map designers can now pay attention to details like the proper roll of the road surface in a curve. We are also trying to make sure we get our research right when it comes to unique road signage elements, proper road markings, or the use of cat's eyes. We hope to achieve a completely new look and feel when driving across the State. Read more here. 9. If you’ve seen the title and now you are terrified that instead of delivering the usual goods, you’re now going to become the ferryman Charon himself, transporting souls by the river Styx, or perhaps that this is going to be some sort of spooky horror blog post, then have no fear, we are going to talk about a major landmark of Wyoming instead! You have seen many legendary places during your driving adventures, but the opportunity to witness the Devils Tower in the distance while you are sitting behind the wheel is a chance unlike any other. And it looks breathtaking in all situations, no matter the hour of weather, right? Devils Tower is a famous butte with hundreds of vertical cracks and a total height of 5,112 ft (1,558 m), which makes it an extremely distinctive feature in the area full of prairies. The name’s origin can be traced all the way back to the year 1875 and the expedition led by Colonel Richard Irving Dodge (not to be mistaken with Doge). The name "Devils Tower" was reportedly a misinterpretation of a native title "Bad God’s Tower", which does not really sound that bad but still has a quite dangerous ring to it nonetheless. As much as it would’ve been entertaining to see the trucks climb up the mountain, the sight of this natural wonder is much better experienced by seeing the "bigger" picture with everything around; therefore the closest possible point will be the visitor’s center and in front of the gate at the entrance to the park. But do not weep, because there will be a nearby farm and an interactive viewpoint below the tower, in which the most attentive may find something very interesting. They say that picture is worth more than a thousand words. You'll be able to easily create similar shots with the upcoming 1.41 Update which brings the revisited in-game photo mode. And if you cannot wait to experience driving through Wyoming DLC, remember to add Wyoming to your Steam Wishlist and you can be one of the first to admire the Devils Tower and much more! And if you are still a little bit worried about the name, just remember, "the Devil went down to Georgia" some time ago anyway. View the full article

  11. Howdy, truckers! We don't talk very often about Texas DLC on our blog, as there is still a ton of work ahead of us to start hyping it too much. But we have assembled the largest team ever to work on an ATS DLC for this project, and they keep producing great stuff. Today we are delighted to share some of the landmarks and prefabs that you will eventually be able to spot while on the road in this massive state. Get your cowboy hats ready and let's jump right into it! What comes to people's minds when you ask them to imagine driving through Texas? For many, it's the oil wells and oil processing facilities. The state is the leading oil producer in the USA; the new map expansion would not feel complete if we did not focus on oil processing and related transport when portraying it. Your future journeys may frequently bring you to various functional areas such as oil wells and oil service depots. In addition to the fractionation method we previously introduced in Idaho, Texas will also be using oil extraction by pressure. The service depots will be the source of oil well mechanical parts, which are a must-have since there are about 180,000 oil wells in Texas. Apart from oil industry-related areas, there will also be an introduction of the first glass plant. Our inspiration is a state-of-the-art facility that boasts the latest inventions that redefine glass processing and prevent excessive pollution. You may also find it interesting to deliver to a warehouse used for transferring cargo between Mexico and the USA. Texas is home to a great deal of charming architecture and there are many interesting structures that you will be able to spot while on your deliveries. Some of the structures have major historical importance, for example The Herring Hotel, which is the only one still standing of the three oil-boom era hotels built in the 1920s, or perhaps "A Tribute to Courage", a monument that is a statue of Sam Houston - army general and the first president of Texas. These are of course just a few examples. There will also be a number of well-known courthouses, apartment buildings, arenas, university, a medieval castle (although not really an actual castle!) and... what’s that? Did you think we could forget about the legendary Texas Capitol? Never! You will definitely be able to see this landmark in the game as well. We hope you have enjoyed an early look at what is coming in the upcoming Texas DLC. Trust us, there will be much more to show you in the future. If you cannot wait to pass by some of these buildings or feel the atmosphere of the ever-growing industry, don’t forget to add the expansion to your Steam Wishlist and stay in touch with all the upcoming news. 12. Networks are certainly an important part of today’s world. For example, our #BestCommunityEver is an inseparable aspect of our social network. In the same manner, road networks are a fundamental piece of traffic infrastructure. The newest location that will be arriving in American Truck Simulator is going to be no exception. Today we are going to shed some light on the road layouts and landmarks in the upcoming Wyoming DLC! Legend says that a certain trucker (we’re all feeling proud here right?) decided one day to take a picture while driving on Interstate 80, as he was approaching an area near Fort Bridger known as "The Three Sisters". The image made it seem as if the road over the crest was never-ending and ever since then, people commonly referred to this area as the "Highway to Heaven". Just like it is with the real-life location, we cannot promise you a trip to paradise, but maybe if you try hard enough, you may just follow in the footsteps of the famous trucker and recreate something similar. Just be careful, as some others tend to call this area "Highway to Hell" instead. As if the Devils Tower wasn’t enough. Time to get back to earth now and mention numerous new road signs which will include speed limit signs, freeway and highway signs, tourist signs, and dynamic message gantries! Speaking of road gantries there’s also going to be a very interesting new visual - gantries with traffic lights at crossroads. These are not exactly a common occurrence, that is why you should always be prepared to take a picture just so you can take it with you "spiritually" wherever you go. But that’s not all, however, as you will also be able to cross several colorful bridges, and if open space is not for you, be sure not to miss the I-80’s Twin Tunnel near Rock Springs. All this and more is coming in Wyoming DLC and whether you want to try to ascend to the heavens (just do not get your hopes "up" - pun intended) or add new visual features to your collection of pictures, do not forget to add Wyoming to your Steam Wishlist! 13. You may have noticed that Steam is currently running the Open World sale. We consider ourselves pioneers of the open-world exploration genre with our truck sims, and we are happy that both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator have been included in such an offer among other great titles. We had a really fantastic time with our #BestCommunityEver on our developer stream yesterday. It was a pleasure to present our progress on Convoy, our take on implementing multiplayer support into our games Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. Currently, this new feature is still under testing in Experimental Beta for American Truck Simulator. But as of the upcoming Update 1.41, Convoy will give you a chance to enjoy both games with your friends! We thought that this is a great opportunity for us to make it a no-brainer for loyal fans of either of our games to pick up the other title if they are still missing it in their game library. We have created a special time-limited Open World Trucking Bundle through which anyone can easily grab ETS2 and/or ATS. No excuses, everyone will be ready to join their friends' convoys! The sale is already underway and it will end on May 31st at 10:00AM PDT (5PM UTC). Besides both of the games being on sale individually, the whole bundle will be a part of the sale too. Also, don't forget to check out some of our other games and DLC as they are receiving a discount as well. We hope we’ll see you and many more new faces on the road!View the full article
  14. Our office received some interesting material this morning. Coming from a professional truck spotter, who wanted to remain anonymous, we received some very exciting photos of a never-before-seen truck. As photographed, the vehicle was covered in a special camouflage wrap typically used by manufacturers to obscure a vehicle's shapes, lines and unique elements, to make it hard to discern exactly how a new vehicle model will look like before its official reveal. For now, further details are still unknown to us, but one thing is clear, there will be a new truck for any trucker or fan of Euro Truck Simulator 2 to look forward to. View the full article
  15. We know what you’re thinking. You’ve already seen the nature of Wyoming on our blog previously. The problem, or perhaps an advantage, is that our lovely map designers supplied us with many more beautiful scenes taken from the upcoming Wyoming DLC and it would’ve been criminal not to share these additional screenshots with the #BestCommunityEver. So buckle up and enjoy the ride! Whether it is Boysen State Park with its interesting geological formations, Bridger-Teton National Forest and the already mentioned famous four W’s, Bighorn National Forest and its diverse landscape, or perhaps Targhee National Forest, which boasts with many natural marvels - there will certainly be no shortage of eye-pleasing distractions along the road. The natural wonders of Wyoming are full of historically important locations, jaw-dropping scenery, and diverse wildlife. This description, however, truly pales in comparison to seeing it with your own eyes. Since Wyoming’s industry is tied to mining and agriculture, the real magic of the local environment is how technological progress does not devalue beauty, instead, it fits right into what we admire in the first place. All this and more is coming in the upcoming Wyoming DLC! Once you bounce back after being blown away by the natural spectacle you have witnessed, don’t forget to support us by adding the Wyoming update to your Steam Wishlist. Thank you and we’ll see you on the road! View the full article
